Best Laid Plans – Poulsbo Family Photographer

I was a huge speech nerd in high school & college. During those years competing I remember someone telling me that the best public speakers weren’t the ones that could memorize and deliver a speech flawlessly; but the best speakers could have all sorts of things go wrong and you would never know.  To a degree, being a photographer feels much the same sometimes.

Sometimes you spend time planning an outdoor family session and then 5 minutes after you start shooting it starts the rain a little, and 10 minutes after that it starts to rain a lot.  So you need to change you plans without skipping a beat.

Thankfully, this family was sporting enough to move their backyard session inside once the rain started to fall.  No amount of rain could dampen their warm and loving spirits.
