Morning – Family Photos

My son is about to turn one.  He doesn’t stop moving.  He gets into everything he possibly can.  And he very clearly has a little mind and will all his own.

It kills me.

Sometimes with exhaustion but mostly with adorableness.

This past week I finally had the good sense to grab my camera and get a few shots of him during his post morning nap exploration/destruction time in his room where he examined his sound machine, pulled all the books he could off his shelf, and tried to understand the complex machinations of the sliding closet doors.  I had been planning on capturing this for weeks and am so happy I finally remembered snag a few photos!  His room has such beautiful natural mid day light which, as of this week, is gone.  Due to the recent heat wave in Connecticut his window fell victim to an AC unit and blackout curtains.  But a happy baby is much better than an overly indulged mother with a camera.

So here is a little glimpse into the fun we had.
