For May’s Day in the Life my family and I traveled into Seattle. I had a session in the West Seattle in the evening so we decided to travel across the sound and make a day of it. My husband and I lived in West Seattle some years ago and we still kind of consider it our neighborhood. We make the trek across the sound to visit our old haunts as much as we possibly can. On this day we stopped by Lincoln park, where we would occasionally walk our dog when he was just a puppy. However this time our son spent some time playing on the playground. Then we grabbed a cupcake and some coffee. After my session we had dinner at our our favorite local sushi spot and then made our way home on the ferry.
This installment of Here and Now was also special because it’s not 100% digital. I also shot a roll of Porta 400 on my Konica T4 during the course of the day.
