August 17; A Day Out for kiddo – Family Documentary Photography

August’s day in the life was all about our little guy.  He seemed to get a little lost in the mess during the month we were pretty intensively remodeling our kitchen.  Not to mention he got exiled from his playroom for quite some time while we were assembling cabinets and still had piles of boxes everywhere.  Once the dust had settled a bit and I was able to move our dishes back in and realized the kid needed a special day.  So after a leisurely morning, followed by lunch we packed up and headed out to our favorite park.  We walked around the community garden where we scored some amazing cherry tomatoes from a lady tending her plot.  We played on the playground. Then, headed downtown to get some ice cream.  Afterwards we made it to the grocery store and back home for dinner and bed.
