A Day at the Zoo – Documentary Family Photographer

Turns out, when you visit the zoo in the fall a good selection of the animals are hiding out trying to stay warm. But, as it also turns out, that does not deter a little girl and her family from having all sorts of fun.

Last October I was able to photograph some dear friends back home in Kansas City.  We decided to spend the morning at the zoo because that had spent so many days with their little girl their over the course of the summer.  They danced with the penguins, rode the carousel, fed the Koi, and played at the playground.  It was quite a full and happy morning for sweet little 2 year old.
