Recently, I was talking with my friend and fellow Sham of the Perfect contributor Carrie about hitting the “sweet spot” with parenting, that magical time where you can actually go out and enjoy activities together as a family. It’s a time when you aren’t concerned about a possible diaper blowout or meltdown but instead everyone, even the littlest family members, is capable and willing to participate and enjoy themselves.
I have a toddler. I have not hit the sweet spot yet. But Carrie has!
Last fall, when the weather was still warm, I spent a morning with Carrie and her super fun family. Together, we played outside, went rock climbing, and then wrapped up a busy morning with lunch at a favorite pizza spot. It was a morning that had family sweet spot written all over it.
