The weather has finally shifted to real spring weather in our current corner of the nation. It seems that overnight our back yard exploded into various shades of green and floral. For lots of people this is usually the catalyst for yard sales, spring cleaning, and emerging from the winter with great motivation to get organized. I am usually one of those people. This year is a little different.
We are moving from Connecticut to Washington State in about 4 weeks. The house we have been renting, well, we have been renting because it was the perfect size, a great location, and kind of a steal. This house is a lot of wonderful things, but nice enough to warrant keeping spotless especially when we have only been half unpacked during our 6 month stay? No, not quite.
So this weekend, when I should have been doing about a million other things, including planning how we are going to get from one coast to the other with two cats, one dog and a baby, I blew off as much as I could. On Friday we really welcomed spring by grilling out and I was able to snag a few photos. My little weekend of slacking might be catching up with me today. Still, totally worth it.
