Earlier this month I had the pleasure of shooting some family portraits for my friend, Alexandra. I met Alex, her husband and their three little boys (the youngest only being a few days old) down at the waterfront in Poulsbo, Washington for their photo session.
There were so many wonderful things about this session but I think the thing that stood out most was how completely grounded and at ease the entire family was. We walked along the waterfront in some gorgeous fall weather. Their littlest one took a snooze while their other two little boys told jokes and collected little treasures like fallen leaves, a little piece of shell, and a few really great sticks. There was lots of love, lots of laughs, and a little bit of time spent “walking like zombies.”
