5 Years Old – Kitsap Documentary Family Photographer

Last June my oldest somehow turned 5 years old. I’m still a little confused about that as I’m certain he was only a year old and cuddling in my lap about two weeks prior to that. But now we have a Lego obsessed, Star Wars loving, little boy who is determined to make his own decisions.

We celebrated his birthday with breakfast doughnuts, playing with his new toys, dinner at Slippery Pig Brewery (his choice, I swear!) and cake (white with chocolate layers – as per his request). That night he asked to sleep in the playhouse he got for his birthday and, of course, we happily let the big kid camp out in the family room for the night.
